Did you buy this? have you read it? Did you like it? Am I asking too many questions?
I read this a few months ago and really liked it; in fact I just bought it as a gift for someone, that's how much I liked it. I'm curious to know what you think.
So far I really like it! It's hard for me to not feel guilty during the day sitting and reading, so I've only read the first 2 chapters. I've been making myself sit and read a chapter outside every afternoon. My brain needs the exercise. But yeah, really good all around so far.
Any other recommendations? I have a Barnes and Nobles gift card that I have yet to use. I just can't decide what book is worth my $25!
No one book is worth $25, you should be able to get at least two for that. Recommendations? Let's see...
I would recommend:
Anything by Alexander McCall Smith
Anything by John Irving
The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
The Memory Keepers Daughter
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka
Small Island by Andrea Levy and Fruit of the Lemon, also by Andrea Levy
These are just ones I have read in the last little while that I have really enjoyed.
