Hypothetically Speaking, Of Course
Let's imagine you are sitting on the couch with your husband next to you, all snuggled so nicely. Let's imagine your husband wants your attention. To accomplish this, he elbows you in the rib cage EVERY single time. Is this endearing or horribly annoying? No matter what, it is would be painful, despite how lightly your husband thinks he is "nudging" you. What is so important on the television that Steve your husband would need to inflict physical pain to get my your attention? Wouldn't a kiss on the cheek be much better to get my your attention? I'm just asking, hypothetically, of course.

Ha! Too funny! But it sounds like something I would do to Jim. Although this AM in the car on the way back from exercising, he thought it would be really funny to pinch my arm. I yelped and was not amused.
he usually gets the point.

i hit steve in the chest sometimes. you should try that on your steve. i mean, if he were to hypothetically elbow you, you should hit him in the chest.
uhm. so... i guess you would never need to hit him in the chest because he would never elbow you. right?
Everytime he does it tell him you love him then stick a wet finger in his ear.
