Is It Naptime Yet?

[this is good]

This sounds painfully familiar. We're in the middle of "Try to Push Me Down and Then I'll Cry" at home and "He's/She's Crossing the Line!" in the mommyvan. There was a time when I'd hear moms say, "It's obviously time for school to start" and I'd think to myself, wow, I will never feel that way. But yeah. It's definitely time for some new friends and activities.

Oh my gosh, I am so tired of the tattling myself. Nicolas is getting better about it now that he's nearly 7.5, but Noelle is HORRIBLE about it. I call her the informer...she will tell on ANYONE about ANYTHING, no matter how insignificant. Noah is starting to learn the tattle game too now. Joy.

I started to remember more about Poisonwood Bible after I located it, and flipped thru it. Yes, now I recall the emotional upheaval. It is a pretty amazing book, and if I recall correctly I wasn't expecting it to be when I picked it up.
I wanted to have twins named Mine and Metoo. Ahh the fun...
I'm telling you.....make them run laps if they fight/argue. I'm going to make such a great father.
How about knuckle push-ups?
mommyvan.
I was just talking with the son-in-law last night about naptime. How when you are a kid you want to gogogogogogo all the time and can't understand how adults just want to sleep all the time. Later on, you learn it's because your kids energy is taken directly from you in proportion to the level of danger involved in said kids activities. Oh, if only there were a legal way to bottle that energy and sell it on the market...
oh, boy.

yeah. no siblings for mia. hehe... i'd be in trouble for smacking them both around. hehe. :P
My 3 girls are all ten years apart, so did not have the fun of going through this rivalry and tattling stage. However, when they got older it was worse. For some reason, not to mention names here, one of the girls feels it is necessary to try and make herself "the good kid" and will say things to me, to make the other two seem unworthy. Why don't kids understand, we moms have enough love to share equally? Btw, these girls are 17, 17 amd 37 years old now!

Um, 17, 27 and 37 Sweetie... LOL
