It's a Soup Kinda Day....

Yum - that sounds good! I'm sitting at Panera Bread on a dreary, rainy Nashville day and thinking that soup in a sour dough bread bowl for lunch sounds really yummy! We had a delicious chicken chili at our church small group meeting last night. So good!
soup is the BEST when it's cold out :)

i made myself some homemade chicken soup yesterday :) it really hit the spot. :)

isn't it awesome to have a great mother-in-law? :) i have one, too :) :)

Oooh, I do love Panera. Soup in a sour dough bread bowl is just to die for. Broccoli Cheddar is usually my soup of choice. I ought to go hang out there sometime now that I have my own laptop. Of course, I'm going to stay local. Nashville is a bit of a drive from the DC area. ;-)

It's supposed to rain later today into tomorrow, so a big pot of soup is just what I need for the next day or two. I think I'll pick up some sour dough bread to go with it on my way home from picking up the kids

Ooh, homemade chicken soup is so much better than the Campbell's stuff I just bought at the store today. And yes, having a mother in law I like is awesome. Although, it'd be nice if she didn't live so far away. Guess Steve and I will just have to move to Florida eventually. ;-)

Aww, great minds think alike! I was in a soup mood today too... Creamy tomato from panera. yumm...

hope it turns out tasty!

How do you figure out what a - 1/4 of a bunch of kale - amounts to? I've heard of and understand a pinch of salt but I'm clueless on a bunch of kale. Just curious.

I'm sick! Bring me soup!

;)

No clue. I just throw as much as I want!
I wish it were soup weather here. I've got the air conditioner on. Sigh.
you posted this the same day i was going to make zuppa toscana for the first time! i had a different recipe, but when i read your post, i switched to yours, which sounded easier and closer to the original. it was fabulous! thanks!
