My belly hurts, must be the maggots
We took the kids to the movies today. Steve had promised Josiah that we would go see "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" when it came out. Let me just say I am so thankful that we had 4 free movie tickets. If I had actually had to pay for my ticket I would be asking someone to give me that hour and a half of my life back. So yeah, 7 tickets for $23, not so bad. The CGI animation was really good, I must say. Plus Josiah went to bed one happy little boy. So it was worth it.
After the movie, we went to IHOP. Good cheap eats for a family of 7. It had nothing to do with my CinnaStack obsession, nothing at all. I wanted to be like all the cool kids here on Vox and moblog pictures from our dinner, but I didn't have my e-mail address for that. Yes, I'm a dork.
Sophia and Steve all happy and ready to eat some CinnaStacks. Seriously, IHOP needs to pay me for all this free advertising.
Bet they didn't know I was going to stick this on the internet. Aren't they cool?
Alex and Victoria again. 12, such a fun age.
Ashley just loves posing for the camera. You can't take a candid of this kid. If she sees the camera pointing in her direction, she poses and smiles instantly!
Victoria made everyone move out of the booth so she could have a picture of us. She's having a rough time of it right now with her father and stepmom moving to North Carolina. She named this pictures "Me and My Girl" on my phone. She's a good kid, even if she can be a moody preteen pain in the butt some days.
Shortly after these were taken, big plates of delicious food arrived. I stuffed myself til it hurt. Who am I kidding, it still hurts. Curse those CinnaStacks! I think I need to lay down.
Anyone want to meet me at IHOP for breakfast?

Ya know...the silver dollar pancakes are a serious obsession of mine dating back to childhood. Oh, and the syrup...let's not forget the syrup. And the scoops of butter. But wait...there's also the giant, frosted glass of whole milk. Might as well get all the big "C" stuff down at once, right?
The pics are adorable.
Cute pictures! I love your glasses.
Johnny Come Lately Question - since I just started reading and haven't gotten around to making my way through the archives, but do you have five kids?
You kinda had to know that the movie would be awful, but at least it was capped with true family fun. That's awesome.
Now, put down your fork and move slowly away from the cinna-stack...
Nathan hasn't gotten into the turtles (thank God!). He came home asking what TMNT was. I guess the little boy next to him on the bus loves it.
Glad you didn't bust your gut!
