New hair

I know, I know, it's not hideous, but there are some major issues I have with it. First off, she cut it in two distinct layers on the sides and back. Around the face is fine, I can deal with the bangs I didn't ask for. But I need lots of layering to get my curls to behave. I'm stuck straightening and curling now. Before my hair didn't take long at all, 10 minutes tops. It took me an hour to get it to do this. Needless to say, I'm frustrated and out of time as I have to go pick up the kids from school.

Love the bangs. Not that you can tell by looking at my pics...but I had long hair once. Like, down to the middle of my back. Can't really say I miss it. :-)

I think it looks cute, too, but those bangs would drive me out of my mind. I'd be flipping hair out of my eyes constantly.

it is adorable, but I hate a haircut you actually have to work at to make look good on a daily basis. Hope it grows out to your liking soon!

Very cute! But, I agree with Grace, 60 min is far too long for styling.

I think it's gorgeous, but it sounds like she cut for straight hair not curly. And if it takes too long to make it look nice, that's not much of a benefit.

You look great! But I'm sorry that you have to spend the extra time on it. That's no fun, but hopefully it will grow out quickly and get easier.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm going to have to figure something out. I like wearing it down, especially since it's cold. Ponytails expose my neck to the elements. I'm hoping in a day or two I can figure out the trick to styling it quickly.

Yeah, the bangs make my forehead itch and keep poking me in the eyes. I would pull them back but Victoria has used and lost all my mini clips.

I'm sure it will grow out soon enough! I shouldn't whine about it. It could've been much worse like the time I asked for a bob and got a bob in the back, mullet in the front!!!!

Hopefully I get used to it soon. I was this close to pulling a Britney Spears and shaving it all yesterday. ;-)

I kinda wanted bangs, but didn't ask for them. I was scared I wouldn't like them! I would be fine with them if they didn't itch me so much. On the bright side, they cover my veiny forehead!

Thanks. I haven't even started on my hair yet today and well, looking at the clock I have a half hour to shower AND get my hair done before I have to go get the kids from school. I'm going to make it look decent in 15 minutes or less today!

Yeah, this cut and my curly hair don't like each other. I've finally come to love my curls and now I have to straighten them. I'll be taking a picture of what I want next time, even if it's a trim!

Thanks. I'm sure as a mom you can understand the importance of a super easy hair style! Give me a week or so, I'm sure it'll be just fine.

Thanks! I was just thinking of you while I was making dinner. I was making a "Mrs. P's Goulash". We love it around here! Well, everyone but Alex. He has an aversion to kidney beans, but Ashley loves 'em now. Who'd have ever thunk that? ;-)

I agree with what everyone else says - cute cut, but an hour is way too long. I mean, seriously, that will cut into your Scramble and Scrabulous time, so that is totally out!! :-)

And I don't know how you can have hair in your face like that either - looks great, but I'd be going nuts!
