Oh my goodness - that is a cute story! Love it.

lmbo!
How funny! I think I'll try that - only reverse. When they ask me how I'm doing, I'll go into a whole diatribe about my aching feet or my mucus filled nasal cavity. Maybe they'll hang up on ME. heehee
Too funny! Somehow I still cannot remember that you're Mrs P, not Mrs S. That means I don't see you often enough, hint, hint!

That's hilarious!
That is unexpected. I wonder if they monitor those calls, that would be an interesting conversation with the boss later.
Aren't you on the Do Not Call list?
That is funny. I remember when I was training for my telemarketer job -- for the 2.2 seconds I had it a long time ago -- we were specifically drilled about not offering up any personal info and sticking to the script. I wonder if they did monitor that call...

Enjoyed
too funny. That was probably her best call of the day, someone who actually was polite and wished to feeling better.

That is so funny! Kind of makes you want to listen to her a bit more.
LOL. that's funny that she said that... you're probably the only person nice enough to even listen to her story... you probably made her day. :D
I was thinking the same thing....she probably loved it that you actually asked her how she was instead of screaming at her.
Just now reading this - that IS funny. And it is totally something our mother would do.

(And perhaps you too, as you said.)
