Sometimes I question my own sanity

oh geez. I forgot about the Easter basket.

As a kid, we didn't always get baskets for Easter. :( So I try to keep up on that. I've no excuse, I only have one (well... plus the niece and nephew, but they are little, so are their baskets)
Well, I have baskets I use every year, I meant the stuff to fill it. Wal-mart wasn't too bad and most of the candy was cheaper than a month ago, so I guess procrastinating paid off this time.
yeah... I meant the stuff that goes in the basket too, sorry about that. :) "Basket" as in the basket AND the stuff that goes in it. She just plain forgot the whole thing some years.

Thanks for the Walmart tip. Guess where I will be this afternoon!
We go to my parents in Cleveland for Easter. Some years we get there and my mom's already got the stuff, sometimes she doesn't and I run around like a crazy person trying to get everything the day before Easter. It seems rude to ask if she bought it or not and it's not like I can just get it here and take it with me.

It was easier when Nathan was little and clueless, now I think he can smell chocolate from a mile away.
If you procrastinated until Monday just think of the money you could save, oh wait, I know five children that would be very disappointed. Strike that idea.
Procrastinating will give you less opportunity to raid the kids' candy before Sunday.
This is true. I know the Reese's Peanut Butter eggs would not have made it if I had bought them a month ago.
Oh man! I don't envy you at all. Here's hoping your mom got it this year!
Yeah, I don't think they would understand or I would try it!
gosh, we went a little overboard with easter this year...

i swear, every holiday's just like christmas for this spoiled little girl. hehe.
Good girl. We're doing an Easter egg hunt in our hotel room this year. Wish me luck.
