Ugly Outfit Friday: The One Where I Make a Huge Dork of Myself
This week's outfit doesn't compare to last week's. Seriously, I just don't know if I could ever top it. In an effort to keep everyone entertained, despite the fact that my outfit is lacking, I took a short video clip of myself explaining my outfit.
I love the end where I was waiting for the camera to stop (because it only films 30-40 second snippets) and I make some really strange face before I start laughing like an idiot. I wish someone had told me I made weird faces when I talked and flailed my arms about like a freak.

Janie. We need to talk.
This outfit is not ugly. It's totally cute. The wrap-dress over the jeans is cute. The too-long, turned-up jeans are cute (Hello! Did you not see my jeans the night we all went out to dinner?) The hair is cute. Your manical laughter is cute.
Way to step it up a notch Janie!! Going from picture to video!! Great choice!
I agree that the outfit really isnt' all that bad... but the presentation was great!
And it was good to hear your voice too! (Its deeper than I thought.... :) )
And I think the outfits cute but then what the heck do I know.
It would be priceless if you'd have thrown in that old head swing from your childhood :-).
btw, i don't like dresses over pants. hehe. but it's not nearly as hideous as last week's UOF. i'm afraid you will never ever have one as ugly as that one. hehe.
Grandma-P, yeah, before I met Steve, I used to have dignity, but no joy for life. I like it much better this way. ;-)
Hannah, I liked the outfit too. Now the hair, the video didn't do it justice. My sister in law came in today, took one look at me and said, "What is up with your hair today? It's weird."
Kzinti, thanks!
Steve B, now I have no idea what in the world I will do next week. Guess I'll really have to dig something out of the closet.
Jamie, I'm bad at guessing what people will sound like. I just heard David Beckham for the first time yesterday and his voice did not match what I imagined at ALL.
Janette, it is a screened in porch off my bedroom with just a hammock and my treadmill that I never use, so I guess it kinda is a "hammock room". I like the sound of that.
Nicole, nothing like a sister to dredge up embarrassing childhood memories. Thanks!.
Grrrace, I think you are right. Last week's may never be topped. Although, I think I won this week by default. I don't think anyone else even tried. I'll take victory any way I can. I'm not picky.
Mrs. Groovy, you are so sweet. You had every right to call me a dork, and you didn't. Another reason why I like you so much!
.Erin., I like the dress over pants too. I know people get blasted for it, but I like it. I figured I had a good excuse to break it out with it being UOF and all. Now I just have to sneak it in the rest of the week. And the dress, $10 on clearance at H&M which makes me loves it even more!
Hetta and Erin, thanks. Guess I really do have to try harder next week. Otherwise, I might get kicked out of the UOF group. ;-)
But we won't mention any names, now, will we? ;-)
