Yard Work Sucks

Comments

I need much overdue yardwork this weekend too. I really enjoyed the process of making something look beautiful again. Well, somewhat beautiful -- we still have a lot more work to do.
[this is good]
Yay! We've been outside all day doing the same thing, and I suspect I'm a bit burned too. I think I'm going to really work hard to reclaim some of the mystical parts of the backyard this year, areas as yet untouched by human hands.
Lord, I think I've got dirt permanently wedged under my fingernails. Even with a tooth pick I couldn't get it all out. And only three more flower beds to go!
We just spent time working in our back yard and still have the front to do. I am so not looking forward to it. It's so much work.
one good thing about living in a condo is that we never have to do yardwork. heh. i don't like yardwork. cuz i'm lazy.

hope your sunburn's not too bad!
Well, honestly, I don't enjoy it. But once I get going I can't seem to stop. I suppose that's a good thing.
We never seem to make it to the mystical parts. I think the yard gnomes mess with the yard all winter long, so it takes a lot to fix that up.
I hate that. Steve did bring me some gloves, but I forgot to use them some of the time. I got the last of the dirt out on Sunday afternoon. I was tempted to just paint them.
I usually start in the backyard but this year we started in the front. It was just atrocious and couldn't be put off!
Oh, I dream of the day Steve and I can move to the city and live in an apartment or condo. I've never been a fan of yard work, but I hate having the worst yard on the block even more. So I do the yardwork. Sigh.
You mean my yard isn't supposed to look like a junk yard? Oh darn.
