We spent time with family. We ate italian sausages. We played a part in some couple's engagement story in front of the National Christmas tree. We opened our new pajamas. And I cried while trying to read our traditional Christmas books.

]]>It is well known that I tend to be a stuffer when I clean. As long as there are empty closets and baskets, I'll shove stuff in 'em and forget about it. However, there always comes a time when there are no longer places to stuff things and the house never looks clean because there is an abundance of stuff.
Just wondering if I am the only person that tends to eat more when they are sick. It's like, I feel bad, so I go around the house eating whatever I can get my hands on hoping that it will be the magical thing that will make me feel better. In the end, I'm still sick and now my pants are tight too.
]]>Sure, I've been sick for a week and a half now with a cold that is holding on like a pit bull. And swine flu has hit the kids' school (not my kids luckily). But there are the graces in life that make it all ok.
