we've had Ugly Outfit Friday around here, don't you?
This week's outfit doesn't compare to last week's. Seriously, I just don't know if I could ever top it. In an effort to keep everyone entertained, despite the fact that my outfit is lacking, I took a short video clip of myself explaining my outfit.
I love the end where I was waiting for the camera to stop (because it only films 30-40 second snippets) and I make some really strange face before I start laughing like an idiot. I wish someone had told me I made weird faces when I talked and flailed my arms about like a freak.

I'm not even going to attempt to explain this outfit. The abstract 80's style shirt, the shoes that seem instantly ugg up any outfit, the blue eyeshadow, the side ponytail, and the fact that I am in my 30s and too old to pull this off.
Ok, um, I guess I explained it.
My computer doesn't like the pictures from the good camera, so you all will have to wait til after VBS for my ugly outfit. I must say with Hannah back in the ring this week, the competition is stiff and I don't think I can top her bubble skirt/jean combo.
Tomorrow is Ugly Outfit Friday! I would prefer to not be the only one participating this week. I would feel much better grocery shopping and perusing the aisles of Target knowing that I am not the only one getting funny looks and giggles behind my back. Seriously, the day we came back from London, I got a "Look at what she's wearing!" followed by some hearty laughs while walking out of JFK airport.
In other local news, Grandma-P, Gary, Rick and Rob are having a good ole time with photoshop and Steve's pictures from his blog. Go take a look if you need a laugh! I just don't have anything really interesting to say here right now, kinda hit a dry spell as far as blogging. But they are all on a roll!
Did you think I forgot? Oh no, I am dedicated. Even though it seems as though I am the only one still dedicated to UOF, I am plugging on. I will not give up.
This is me doing my "Victoria Beckham" in honor of Posh and Becks arrival in the US. Seriously, did any real news happen today? Because that is all I seemed to read and hear about today.
Anyway, there you have it. With my lovely black heels, it's quite a cute dress. With leggings and some velvet tennis shoes, not so much. Steve was even taken aback when he arrived home today. I'm challenging you all, do you have the guts next Friday? Or will I once again be all alone?

Ok, I suppose it could, but couple that with air so thick you can cut it with a knife and it is a pleasant day here in Maryland.
So, Victoria just asked me if I am really going to wear this to my niece's party. Yes, I am. I have already worn it to the pharmacy, Target, and Food Lion. I turned a lot of heads, let me tell you. I felt a bit silly at first, but then every time I saw someone looking strangely at me out of the corner of my eye, I just smiled and laughed to myself. If they only knew.
I will confess, I'm not exactly happy about wearing it around people I actually know tonight. However, I am not backing down. I committed to UOF, and I am going to ride it out til the end. Guess I'll be doing a lot of explaining tonight, eh?
